El Teatre Principal és un edifici construit amb pedra de Santanyí, inaugurat el 1925 com a cinema. Uns anys més tard va ser adquirit per l’Ajuntament de Santanyí i fou restaurat, conservant la seva estructura original. El teatre ofereix diferents actes culturals, com teatre, cinema, concerts, conferències, etc.
