The Drac apartments are located next to the idyllic beach of Cala Santanyí, in front of the beach of fine sand. For many years now, regular tourists and new tourists enjoy their holidays in one of our cozy apartments. We have several apartments that can please both large families and couples with children since the apartments are next to the beach with the comfort that this entails.
The apartments have been constantly renovated and equipped with all necessary services. In some apartments there is heating so the cold does not prevent a deserved rest and to discover the secrets that Mallorca keeps in winter. We recommend our visitors to have a car to move because although there are some shops and other establishments, Cala Santanyí is a small town and nearby there are other places you should not miss. We recommend the Natural Park of Cala Mondragó, the typical fishing port of Cala Figuera where daily, in the evening, the fishing obtained is discharged, the traditional market of Santanyí that takes place every Wednesday and every Saturday morning; and every corner of our coast as each place holds a special magic.
CALA SANTANYÍ A PLACE TO ENJOY
Cala Santanyí is a small cove with a fine sandy beach located in the municipality of Santanyí which is located in the south-east of Mallorca, about 45 kilometers from the airport. With the tourism boom experienced in Mallorca, several homes around the magnificent beach were built, resulting in the small village we have today in Cala Santanyí. The town has known how to protect from the maelstrom of mass tourism and still keeps its charm of family houses and small apartment blocks. It is in summer when Cala Santanyí has its splendor since all establishments are open, taking advantage of the visit of tourists seeking fun and relaxation.
On the beach there are plenty of activities and even a diving school. Any time of year is ideal for visiting Cala Santanyí because although in winter the cold is relentless at nightfall, there are many sunny days that allow you to enjoy great walks around and can find the relaxing spirit that once made us popular . We recommend that you approach the viewpoint of Es Pontas the evening to see a beautiful sunset. Es Pontas is a whim of nature because it is a natural cave, which roof collapsed and what remains now is a stone arch emerging from the water. Es Pontas has been a source of inspiration for many artists paintings.
From Cala Santanyí you can walk to the nearby Cala Figuera which has no beach but has a fishing port with typical houses of fishermen and has also been the inspiration for numerous artists (it is known as the Mallorcan Venice). Likewise you can walk from Cala Santanyí to Cala Llombards to enjoy another wonderful beach of fine white sand.
